22. Initial Ideas

These ideas are not elaborate, only a draft of what we have in mind as a group, they may change.

Film Idea:

A character you has everything- clothes, technology e.t.c.
we find out he gets these things from stealing
another character has nothing.
Notices what the other character does and contemplates whether he should steal too.

The props we are likely to use are jewellery, make-up, a phone, money...

Costume:
Mostly casual clothing - depending on character.

Plot:
opens with poor girl looking at pictures of rich girl on Facebook. they were childhood friends. sees a childhood photograph with both girls together, she throws it in the bin.
shocked expression when poor girl spots rich girl stealing. then the expression changes to a concerned expression.

The movie "Bling Ring" is our inspiration:

"Inspired by actual events, a group of fame-obsessed teenagers use the internet to track celebrities' whereabouts in order to rob their homes."

Our film will be similar to the "Bling Ring" film because we will also have a teenage character who is obsessed with the clothing and fashion of what fame has to offer. Although, we will not have any characters break into homes of celebrities, we will have a character rob from a shop to get these luxuries. We will also have a contrasting character who spots what is happening.
