19. Garage Band

How To Use GarageBand/Tutorial:

GarageBand is similar to final cup pro and any work that is produced on GarageBand must be saved onto the video drive. To start creating your audio, you must click and drag sounds onto the timeline. When you press play, you will hear a clicking sound, this can be turned off by clicking the metronome at the bottom of the screen. By clicking the loop icon, you can continue the sound repeatedly and make the sound on your timeline longer. You can find the sounds you are looking for by clicking the music note icon on the top right of the screen and you can select music depending on instrument or mood. You can alter your sounds by turning the volume up or down or by fading sounds in or out;on the left of the screen there is an individual control panel for each sound, the bottom icon controls the sound.
. The green line represents volume and can make sounds less sharp. You can edit your sound by changing the tempo to faster or slower than the original. To add more sounds, you select the sound that you want and drag it under the previous sound. When you click play, both sounds will play together. You can also add Foley sounds if you need a specific sound effect for example. When adding footage, you want to delete its original audio and you do that by highlighting it on the timeline and clicking backspace. Once you are happy with your project, you will want to export it. You do this by clicking "share" at the top of the screen and then "export songs to disk" and "save".
