Filming | 31st January 2015 - Jess Production diary

On the 31st January, Group 24 and myself had agreed to meet by Turnpike Lane station to film some of Diana's parts. We filmed in Downhills Park, which had a lot of greenery surrounded by urban streets.

Our plan was:

Diana - acting

Monique - filming

Jess - filming and photography

Nana - directing and filming

We used the camera, the tripod and the fig rig. We had only used the tripod and camera previously, so we had to give the fig rig a few tries, but I think the final outcome was quite good.

We shot the scenes of Diana's character alone in the park. These shots show how lonely she is, as she is surrounded by an empty space. We also see people walking past, judging her - this shows how different and alienated she may be in comparison to everyone else.
